I photograph people. That’s basically it. Whatever they’re doing, I’ll photograph them doing it. Performing on stage, getting married, posing for a portrait, whatever. I’ve tried photographing landscape but gorgeous views just put me to sleep. I spent a couple of days doing pack-shot still-life photos once; it was the longest fortnight of my life.
I lived and worked for several hundred years in South London; now I live in Whitstable, on the North Kent coast, but distance has never been an issue. I’ve photographed weddings as far away as Almost-Wales, while one of my favourite dance-schools is in Winchester, and I’m not entirely sure what county that’s even in.
To keep things simple, I’ve split my work into three general categories.
